27 W/ Valentine Trio and the the "Bridges Freeze..." 4tet at the Hideout. We'll also do a short Fred Katz tribute set late.
28 W/ Keefe Jackson and Frank Rosaly at Elastic (live recording).
October
2 at the Cultural Center is a panel on improvisation w/ several different improvisors and myself.
Then am in Arizona w/Boxhead for a few days. Let me know if you want details. I think the shows are in Phoenix and Tucson?

6.9.06

Texas in my soul...

or at least, my soul, if I have one, is in Texas (right now).
Friday night is the gig. Its an Austin New Music Co-op concert. A lightbox, a new piece, a couple of older ones and two by ensemble members. Might be a long'un!
After that, back to Chicago. All week the V5 rehearse. Also...
Wednesday (9/13) am DJ at Hideout (bowed string madness)
Thursday (9/14) Josh Abrams ensemble at Elastic
Friday and Saturday (9/15&16) Vandermark 5 at Elastic
Then? well... check in later.
